Odisha, India’s most resource-rich yet economically vulnerable states, has made imporant strides in poverty reduction. However, challenges such as rural unemployment, tribal marginalization, climate vulnerabilities, and gender disparities continue to hinder sustainable development. Sustainable livelihoods, which ensure economic resilience while preserving natural and social resources, are essential for long-term poverty eradication.
