Pottery is one of the oldest creations of man and it still plays an important role as a keeper of tradition. In the thousand-year history of Bangladesh, pottery was not limited to making practical objects but it reflected the creativity, culture and life of the people of this region. The use of perfect designs, symbols and colors reflects the history, beliefs and daily life of Bangladesh. The present study discusses the establishment, development, various problems and potential aspects of Bijoypur pottery in Comilla district of Bangladesh. In fact, it represents the current real situation of pottery not only in Comilla district or Bijoypur pottery but also in the entire Bangladesh.
